Dancers love our Low-Tops! They’re amazingly comfortable, lightweight, minimal, and fashionable. Many of our shoes come with a sturdy neoprene sole, but we can also make shoes using only leather to replicate the ghillies’ soft soles. If you still decide to choose a leather sole, we recommend wearing them with caution; use leather soled footwear only for dance floors and be sure to keep them as indoor shoes only, as repeated exposure to rough terrains can damage the leather sole much more quickly. We usually discourage making the soles from leather because it reduces their longevity and gives little traction unless you understand the risks or plan to use the shoes for traditional scottish dance competitions!
